Pre-requistites: Examination of health problems facing groups and communities, including those associated with environmental hazards. Specific attention is given to identifying the role and function of community and environmental health within the U.S. public health system; describing the impact of the built environment on health; specific environmental risk assessment methods; and, the identification of approaches for preventing and controlling environmental hazards.
